Friday Featured Blog: Screeniac
Today's blog of note is a relative newcomer, at least judging by the fact that even in my extensive searching of all things blog, I've never seen it before. The blog is called Screeniac. The first thing I said when I saw it was "brilliant!". I've been practising my british vernacular, for some reason.
Anyways, if you surf the web at all you know that every day sees the release of eleventy gazillion new webapps and services. You could drown in them. And with some of them it's a bit difficult to understand their purpose or to get into the workings of them. Also, I can't tell you how many sites I've signed up for only to use the site once and then never again. Screeniac solves all of that by providing short, sweet screencasts of many popular webapps and services and adding more each day. The videos are a great way to get a first hand look at how a site and/or service operates without having to sign up yourself. The screencasts are very clear and cover the basics of each site. This is, by far, the best idea for a blog or website I've seen all year.
