The Firefox Screencap Project: Marco Casteleijn
Today's entry in The Firefox Screencap Project is from Marco Casteleijn. He is an active part of the Spread Firefox website, working to improve the SFX website. Take a look at Marco's screencap to the left (click to see full-size).Marco writes,
I have been a great fan of Firefox since 0.9 can out. I made the switch because viruses, ad-ware and spyware were slowing my computer to a grinding halt. After I installed Firefox life got a lot better and less stressful. I entered the realm of SFX directly after I installed Firefox and have been active ever since. To participate in The Firefox Screencap Project see here for information.
On extensions: this is why Firefox is such a strong program. You can do with Firefox what you need. I have used many extensions and have also tested many just to try them out. The screencap you saw is my work one. There I use the the following extensions:And the "theme" you see on my screencap is the new Joga companion extension (a theme + extension in one): It is cool I can follow the World Cup as it happens!
- Tabbrowser preferences (big fan, always used it from day 1)
- Biobar
- BioFOX (excellent extensions for my work purposes as a researcher)
- Duplicate tab (used from day 1)
- IE tab (since a few months, some work related project site work only in IE)
- Nuke anything enhanced

The more you traffic you get, the better it is.
And for those never used Firefox? Just try it! I f you do not like it you can delete it easily (unlike Explorer ;o).
Most people do not delete it (unless to install it again)
