I'm finally back from my trip. I had a good time in Greensboro with my uncle's family, and I'm fully rested. Sometimes you just have to "take a powder" (a quick, unplanned trip) as we northeasterners say.

I wanted to write today about a video I saw a couple of weeks ago on the web. There's a documentary called "Loose Change" that has been making the rounds of the internet. I happened to catch it over at Google Video, and it stunned me.

First let me say that before watching this video, I thought all of the 9/11 conspiracy theorists were nuts. I'm a liberal, but I just couldn't believe that our own government could be responsible for the murders of our own citizens. Even Bush and co. couldn't be that evil, I thought.

But this film really made me think. And while I don't believe everything it proposes, the idea that our government and the Bush administration may be responsible and complicit in the WTC attacks is no longer unbelievable to me. All bets are off. This administration has demonstrated time and time again that they have no scruples. I'm willing to believe them capable of nearly anything at this point. Watch this video and you'll probably come to the same conclusion.
