Sometimes the trailers for movies just don't cut it. I've often decided on the basis of a trailer not to see a film, only to see it later and find that I nearly missed out on something good. First 10 Minutes is a website that aims to change all that by actually letting you watch the first ten minutes of any films released on DVD in the past five years.
Do Time Zones confuse you? If you travel a lot or have family and friends all over the world, time zones can be an important consideration. I once called a friend in Australia and was horrified to discover that it was 4 am there. You can solve this problem by bookmarking this handy Time Zone Converter. With it you can find out what time it is in any part of the world.
I love old polaroids. I loved my mom's old camera. Snap the picture, out it spits, and then you'd wave it in the air a few seconds and watch the photo magically appear. If you'd like to get the polaroid look to some of your recent pictures, you can do so digitally at least, by visiting the Polaroid-o-nizer. Give it an image url (upload your pic to imageshack or photobucket first) and then optionally angle your polaroid (useful for collages) and enter some cool text. Especially nice if you'd like to send a picture with an explanatory note.
